| HEADLINES  | | | | | | | | | | | Details about the Sunday Morning Winter League | | | | | | | posted 10/17/2008
- The Winter 2008 Co-ed Soccer League will begin on Sunday, Dec, 14th.
- Games will be played on Sunday mornings at EC Lawrence Turf Field #2 in Chantilly, VA.
- The games will be 60 minutes long, with the first game beginning at 8am and the last game ending at 1pm
- Each team shall field eleven (11) players, with at least four (4) women on the field at all times.
- The season will consist of 8 regular season games plus playoffs (weather and field permitting).
- The team registration fee is $650 before November 9th, and $750 after November 10th. Registration closes on November 28.
- The individual (free agent) registration is $60 (males) & $40 (females) before November 9th, and an additional $10 after November 10th. Registration closes on November 28, 2008.
- All registration fees must be paid in full by November 28, 2008
- Click on the Register Online Tab to Register. Registration fees are refundable only at the discretion of Fairfax Athletics
- Late Registration after November 28th will be based on League Availability.

- Cheaper Team / Individual Fees - Our fees are much less expensive than other sports leagues
- Longer Season - You are guaranteed to play 8 games, and possibly 1-3 more if your team makes the playoffs (weather and field permitting)
- Convenient Field Location & Parking - Field locations to be determined but will have plenty of parking
- Qualified & Experienced Referees - We will provide a Head Referee that understands the rules completely, and has years of soccer officiating experience.
- Team Bench - Each sideline will have a bench available for each team.
- Social Sports League - There will be scheduled activities and parties throughout the season. EVERY MEMBER of FXA will be invited to participate, so you'll be able to meet people from the Flag Football, Kickball, and Softball leagues.

- If you would like to be placed on the same team with another individual, there's a question during registration that will allow you to list their name(s).
- Please accurately list your Skill Set (Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert) and Preferrred Position (Goalie, MidFielder, Defense, etc) so we can evenly distribute players on each Free Agent team
- We need two (2) volunteers to be the Captain and Co-Captain of each Free Agent team, so if you're interested, there's a quesion during registration that will allow you to volunteer
- Each Free Agent team will need a Team Name and Shirt Color, so get creative and have a few ideas ready to suggest to your new team.
